Indian astronaut Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla and the rest of the Axiom‑4 crew are scheduled to return to Earth on July 14, 2025. Launched by SpaceX on June 25, the mission spent 14 days aboard the ISS, completing over 230 orbits and traveling more than 6 million miles. The crew conducted numerous scientific experiments. Their mission included Peggy Whitson (former NASA astronaut), Polish astronaut Slawosz Uznanski, and Hungary’s Tibor Kapu. This milestone strengthens India’s role in international space missions and signals India’s growing capabilities in human spaceflight.
