In Panchayat Season 4, while characters Binod and Vidhayak Ji stood out for their performances, actress Sanvikaa—who plays the reserved yet strong Rinki—grabbed attention off-screen due to a creative change. Sanvikaa revealed in an interview that she declined to shoot a kissing scene with co-star Jitendra Kumar. Her decision was based on personal comfort and respect for the show’s family-friendly tone.
Originally, the script included a scene where Sachiv Ji (played by Jitendra Kumar) and Rinki would share a kiss after she falls inside a car. The director, Akshat Vijaywargiya, later discussed this with Sanvikaa. Ultimately, the scene was removed to keep the story enjoyable and in line with the show’s ethos.
Jitendra Kumar responded by saying that the most important thing is that the story remains engaging and fun for the audience.
